Lieutenant Adrian Leigh Lemon

Born 13th November 1887, Adrian was the son of Lionel and Davidina, known as ‘Daisy’, Lemon, and had two siblings, Roy and Phyllis. Having joined the College in 1899, he left in 1901 whilst he was in the Lower 4th. After leaving Dulwich, he attended Bedford School, and by 1911, he had completed training at King’s College London as a barrister.

In early 1915, Adrian signed up with the Lincoln’s Inn O.T.C. before being transferred to the 6th Dragoon Guards. Soon after this he was attached to the Machine Gun Corps. On 29th November 1917 he was killed in action whilst in France. Adrian is now buried in the Anneux British Cemetery, Nord, France.
